With Christmas just around the corner, and being some what of a really contained Christmas this year with the unfortunate outbreak of Covid, Singaporeans are doing their best to make this Christmas something special. That being said, Revv Eats decided to drop in on a good friend of ours, Gerard Freddie, and see what he was cooking up this Christmas.




RECIPE FOR THE GERARD'S EURASIAN CHRISTMAS PINEAPPLE TARTS


DRY INGREDIENTS

200 g top flour

50 g corn flour

50 g icing sugar

50 g powdered milk

one quarter teaspoon salt

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

one quarter teaspoon baking soda


WET INGREDIENTS

200 g unsalted butter

25g egg yolk


bake

centre oven for 160 degrees for 10 minutes

five large pineapples grated

2 " X cm long cinnamon stick

half cup honey

50 g butter


mix all in and cook till pineapple becomes brown
