G-SHOCK's coveted, full metal GMW-B5000 makes come back in bold red colourway for CNY
GG-SHOCK will be releasing a new edition of its highly coveted full metal, square face GMW-B5000 timepiece, a model that carries on the proud tradition of the original G-SHOCK DW-5000C. The watch sports a bold red ion-plated (IP) finish that is the representative color of G-SHOCK. While retaining the symbolic square case, the GMW-B5000 features a full metal shock-resistant structure crafted using durable fine resin inserted in between the stainless steel case and bezel to absorb shock. The screw-back of the watch is applied with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) finish for outstanding wear resistance and the STN-LCD display ensures clear visibility of the face from an angle. Other features include the Connected Engine, which enables the watch to automatically adjust itself to the correct timezone using a time server via a paired smartphone with the G-SHOCK Connected app, and radio wave time-calibration signals.

G-SHOCK has announced today new designs for the G-SQUAD GBD-100 series. The series comes in a black or white base colour with semi-transparent light-collecting resin accents for a watch that’s both aesthetically energetic and functional.
The GBD-100 provides athletes and runners with more accurate distance measurements with its Bluetooth® functions that connect to a smartphone’s GPS. Complementing the watch, the new mobile app developed by Casio – G-SHOCK MOVE – allows users to set and monitor their own workouts and fitness goals.
Other features include the automatic LED backlight that gives a clear view in dark places, and the soft urethane band with cut-outs, improving ‘breathability’ and comfort on the wrist.
