1. G-SHOCK x Kashiwa Sato
Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today the release of the DWE-5600KS, a new addition to the G-SHOCK line of shock-resistant watches. The new model is designed in collaboration with Japanese creative director Kashiwa Sato. With straight blue and white lines on a vivid red watch face, the DWE-5600KS expresses a motif from one of Sato’s best known series of works, Lines. Like the DWE-5600, the base model for the new watch, the collaboration model features interchangeable bands and bezels. Watch owners can enjoy creating 27 different design combinations by switching the bands and bezels, which are made of clear, orange, and green semi-transparent material, as they please. When the backlight is activated, Kashiwa Sato’s initial “K” appears. G-SHOCK x Kashiwa Sato, DWE-5600KS-7DR will be available at G-SHOCK stores (except boutiques located in Isetan and Takashimaya),and Dover Street Market from 27 March 2021 for S$329.
2. G-SHOCK GMA-S2100 G-SHOCK will be launching a new series of watches – the GMA-S2100 – featuring an octagonal bezel, flat face, metallic rose gold bar hour markers, and a carbon core guard structure. There are 4 colourways: black, red, pink and white (which features silver hour markers instead of rose gold). The matte finish and monochromatic colour palette makes for a watch that is suitable for any occasion. In terms of function, these watches feature a carbon core guard structure that gives the watch ultimate shock resistance even with its slim case. These watches are also equipped with world time which allows users to select time from 48 cities, and a double LED light at the face and digital display for visibility in dark places.
